R&D Power is an Austin, Texas manufacturer of portable switchgear, transformer packages, and distribution equipment for temporary and mobile power.

We started R&D Power because temporary power operators can't get the equipment they need. Orders sit for months without a delivery date, and crews end up turning down work they could otherwise take. We've spent years building industrial machinery, and the same work applies here: design it properly, build it to hold up, get it out the door.

We build for rental fleets and contractors whose equipment gets hauled to a site, worked hard, and hauled to the next one, and who need it in time to take the job.
